Course Description
ITIL® Service (Version 5) is intended to provide candidates with the guidance needed to achieve excellence in digital service management, in alignment with the ITIL guidance. Furthermore, it provides practical direction to help candidates align people, processes, and technology, to manage services across the full lifecycle, ensuring resilience, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
ITIL Service defines a service as a means of enabling value co-creation by facilitating outcomes that customers want to achieve, without the customer managing specific costs and risks. Services are not merely technical solutions; they are structured systems of design, delivery, support, and continual improvement that evolve over time. By positioning services as a core organizational capability, ITIL Service connects operations to strategic outcomes, highlighting how delivery and perception together sustain value.

- describe how operating models and value streams support digital service managemen
- understand how AI, automation, PRINCE2, and DevOps enhance lifecycle delivery
