ITIL Transformation (Version 5) provides practical and adaptable guidance to help professionals and organizations get the best out of ITIL, including clear, structured advice for the successful implementation of management changes.
ITIL Transformation differs from routine improvement in its scale, scope, cost and risk. It requires coordinated change across many dependencies and may involve significant uncertainty. Understanding transformation complexity helps explain why different contexts require different methods; predictable contexts allow detailed planning while unpredictable ones require adaptive approaches.
