Course Description
ITIL® Strategy (Version 5) is intended to empower candidates to act with clarity and confidence by ensuring every technology investment supports business strategy and outcomes, in alignment with the ITIL guidance. Furthermore, the qualification will provide the candidates with the confidence that products and services deliver measurable value and embed a culture of trust, agility, and continuous value co-creation in a rapidly evolving world.
Strategy is the foundation for how organizations create, sustain, and evolve value in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world. ITIL Strategy provides guidance on how organizations can define, direct, and sustain value creation in dynamic environments. It translates strategic intent into actionable, sustainable change, supports evidence-based decision-making, balances ambition with operational capacity, and maintains relevance through continual learning and adaptation across the service lifecycle.
The new ITIL Strategy includes guidance on how to:
- manage products and services holistically across their lifecycle, from a strategic perspective
- turn strategy into practical action to drive real growth
- develop, deliver, and sustain an AI-native strategy while remaining human-centric
- enhance strategy with digital and AI capabilities, responsibly and effectively
- speak a common language across teams to enable winning strategies
